Installing last few bolts were very hard to do. Other than that it is a good light/ceiling fan

Military Discount

Hello, visited Lowes this morning to purchase two hunter port haven ceiling fans & take advantage of my military discount, no such luck it appears items were already dicounted so that alll buyers would get sale price. your new policy makes no sense for me as a veterans I certainly will not return to Lowes until I hear that a new policy replaces exting Military purchasing policy.

Difficult assembly and electrical issues

I’ve installed quite a few fans in my life, but this one was by far the worst. Took two and half hours, poorly designed assembly and when I was finally finished the light did not work. In fact, it tripped the breaker in the entire room. I disassembled, reassembled to make sure I did everything correctly and it tripped the breaker again. Item had been returned. Excellent, best fan we’ve ever had for porch

Worst fan install ever

would give zero stars if an option. took 2.5 hours to hang. most difficult install I've ever done. wiring harness is too short to work with easily. the way everything goes together before you hang is stupid. I could never recommend this fan to anyone. I expected more from Hunter Fan. the fan I hung previous to this was also a Hunter fan and took 30 minutes or less and was a larger size. do not buy.

Nothing but problems

Poor design requiring more time for installation. The screws from the light base to the motor are hard to access due to all of the wiring. The box was missing hardware, and the fan works but the lighting doesn't. The lighting has two plug ins and were aligned properly. I am not a homeowner, but an installer, experienced in fan installation. I have lost two hours of labor between install and troubleshooting. I won't install this fan anymore.

It's a good fan, with installation and parts issue

Difficult to install, screws missing. Some of the screws holding the fan to the mount are extremely hard to line up and start. Plus the missing screws I encountered, I would have taken it back but it is a sixty mile round trip from my home. The odd size metric screws were unavailable in my local hardware store. Easy DIY install, looks great

Great fan and lamp combo for a covered porch. DIY install was easy, aided by clear instructions and visual guides. Black metal finish is clean and consistent throughout the components. Bought as a surprise for the wife as we are upgrading our screen porch room.

Ceiling fan with lights for low ceiling

Replaced an old ceiling fan with 4 hanging lights on a low ceiling. This fan was shorter and allows a taller person to walk underneath the fan. Fan is quieter and the light is just as bright.

Need a box above them to support fan.

These are nice fans but we had to bypass the remote. We could not get it to work. We bought 2. Was not an issue for us because we had it hardwired to 2 switches.
