What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise these ceiling fans for exceptional durability and timeless design. Most report units operating flawlessly for 25 to 50 years with minimal maintenance, often passing them between homes or replacing only parts. Reviewers consistently describe the fans as silent, smooth, and powerful, with excellent air movement and no wobbling. The cast iron housing and vintage aesthetic appeal across traditional and modern interiors. A few mention the high upfront cost, and some report isolated balancing issues, but most consider the long-term reliability justifies the investment.

Unmatched Quality
Would RecommendI have installed tons of these of all ages over the years and I stand by them. As far as quality and performance both go, they are some of the best of the best. They are not the cheapest product, but are a "buy once, cry once" type of deal. The Original is always my first suggestion whenever anybody is looking for a high-quality and high-performance ceiling fan for either a household or commercial setting. Classic, timeless design
Would RecommendIn my 30 years of home ownership Hunter Original fans are the only ceiling fans I have installed. And I have never had one fail. I changed oil in my fans once in those thirty years. This fan creates more air flow than any other fan I've seen. The Hunter Original will cost you, but you'll have a classic design in a cast iron housing that will last you the life of your home.

Perfect for a restoration project !
I purchased 5 of these fans when I restored a 125 year old home in Key West Fl. They truly are the best you can buy, I think I only added some oil to the motors after the 10th year, they continue to perform beautifully.
