Have several of these for outdoor receptacles. Tried many others over the years but they leak or don't hold up. These are the best option

Don't buy

We don't like it at all. It is hard to open and hard to shut and if you use a 3 prong plug, it won't shut.

Great solution for more protection then a plastic cover.

Just what I needed

This metal cover was just what I needed to cover an outdoor outlet. However, I needed to file some casting flash out of one of the holes before I could install it.

Not for level-2 EVSE equipment

Frame does not allow large plug cords to exit out the bottom such as portable EVSE chargers like Telsa Mobile Connector.

Works well for regular sized plugs.

It worked good but is good for stamdard plugs. No room for large plugs.

Put at center of work place.

This provides a good cover when attached to Sigma Engineered Solutions 2-Gang Weatherproof Box
