Would RecommendI bought this for the box on my back porch after having a GFCI receptacle installed there. It looks nice, is weatherproof and looks durable. The only problem that I have had so far is with the installation. The screws supplied are not working with the metal box previously installed. They only got part way in and then stop. I am trying to figure out what to do next. I like the look of this box cover, it looks nice and seems like it will do the job if I can get it screws down correctly.

Would RecommendI upgraded the service receptacle the "electrician" installed from 15 to 20 amps. You couldn't open the cover on his install. This one works much better. Nice weather tight cover aling with a 20 amp receptacle and 12 awg wire makes it up to code now.

Would RecommendThe cover does exactly what it needs to. It protects my putdoor outlet from the elements and water when cleaning. This replaced an old cover that the door broke off of and while I don't need to lock it, it's nice that it has a option to add a padlock.

I am sorry to hear that you had a problem with installation. Any 6-32 x 1” pan head screw, can be used as a substitute.
