Perfect Box
Would RecommendI didn't use it for the intended purpose. It became a faraday box to block a magnetic field from interfering with navigation equipment. The heavy steel construction was perfect.

Works with Raco 888 cover
Would RecommendI surface-mounted a Hubbell HBL9450A NEMA 14-50R outlet in this box with a Raco 888 cover. The cover sits on it such that its flange butts up flush with the box's side walls. It adds ~1/2" of depth. There was enough space to coil >6" of 6/3 Romex around the receptacle body. I used a Sigma 44665 clamp connector in the 3/4" knockout to secure the 6/3 Romex.
