Perfect for in-floor plugins
Would RecommendThis electrical box is one of the best on the market because you can actually plug into it and not have the head on the plug remaining out of the floor. You can close it with the gasket seal and leave the lamp or whatever plugged in.

Looks great! Looks can be deceiving
Would Not RecommendIt looks like a great product. The rubber pieces are not easily opened for access and looks like it will be a problem in the future. The plug is not flush so whenappliance is plugged in the plug can be bent as the top of the plug sticks partially out. The metal plate takes a screwdriver to open it to plug in an item. It should come with a tool like like paint can opener so you can open it.

Would Recommend1. Nice brass finish. 2. Quality materials and construction. 3. Convenient adjustment features for floor thickness. 4. Clever deep/recessed outlet that allows electric cord plugs to be hidden below floor level. 5. Cover door has a spring lock pin that is very stiff and requires a pry tool to open.

The Template is too small / Instructions lacking
First, the template is way too small. The hole probably needs to be at least a half inch larger than what the template shows. Second, there should be more instructions regarding procedure. It would save a lot of trips running between floors.

Easy to Install
Would RecommendGreat easy to follow directions with a cut out pattern. Really like the outlet recessed so the cord end is below the floor.

Not easy to install, but nice
Would RecommendI'm a journeyman electrician and I use these floor boxes often. yes the installation is a bit frustrating, but the end result is perfect. here's what I do. first I cut out the template that comes with the instructions. then I drill four 2" holes with a hole saw and then cut out what's left.
