Would Not RecommendHit them with a hammer, they pop right back out of the stud, and get bent up in the process. They’re junk, don’t get them!

Waste of money
Would Not RecommendThe spurs on most of the plates that I purchased had to be bent so that they would drive in straight. Otherwise the spurs would just flatten out. These seem to be designed by somebody who has never actually installed one of these. In the time it too to straighten out the spurs and install it I could have installed 2-3 of another brand's.

theee out of four failed
Would Not RecommendBought four of these. Prongs that hammer into Tuds kept flattening out instead of going into the stud. Only one was able to be installed. That installation was on the second try.
item description is misleading
Would Not RecommendThe item description indicates, "Contractor pack of 100". This is not 100 stud plates. This is 1 stud plate. Don't be deceived by Lowes inaccurately describing this item. I brought this to the attention of the store manager where I picked up this item in November 2020. The item description is still deceiving.
nail plates junk
Would Not RecommendThese plates are crap the nail part is way to short they barley stay on the stud... if you dont hit perfect they will fly off.. not very stable...they can be knocked off with your hand. use the heavier plumber plates ..if you want reliable protection...

Not The Best
I recently bought 2 boxes of these for my home construction. The first box had 28 useless plates where the hammer-down piece was already pushed down flat.....basically a 30% fail rate - waste of money. The second box was of higher quality...no duds in this pack hence a 3 Star rating - 0 for the first box and 5 for the second.
