Clean and clear

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This algae guard worked wonders, my pool was forming a lot of algae in so I put the algae guard in and turned the pump on and in about 24hrs it was clear. This was great worked fast and pool looks amazing!

Works good

Great

Worked fast

New pool just completed in time for a hot Palm Springs summer. Didn't take long for green algae to start. Used HTH initial treatment then after 3 days another dose. Pool has been algae free since. I purposely left one spot of algae in pool to see if HTH worked and it was gone after 3 days.

No. Just no.

As you can see on the bottle is says non-foaming and all I seen in my pool is foam from this chemical/product and I can't say I'm happy.

Smelly and foamy...YUK!!!

Used a little less than the start up dose (15oz in 32,000 gallons) on my green pool after I had checked chemicals and shocked 4 hours before. Foamy (esp out of bubbler and waterfall) and smelly (some kind of ammonia smell) still after 18hrs. Now i have a mess and think only way to get rid of it is empty the pool..

Great Algae preventer

I have been using this product for 6 years in my in-ground Marcite pool. I have no pool enclosure and live in Florida. It has prevented algae growth religiously with one ounce per month in a 10,000 gal pool. Excellent product

Excessive foam in the pool

I add more than recommended and I can not get rid of the foam in my pool. Not sure how I can get my pool back to normal again. Is there any product to eliminate this terrible foam.... trying to taking the foam out of the pool, from the spa, photo from the spa, working

Works Great

It kills and prevents all algae types including green, black and mustard algae in your swimming pool. I simply poured it around the edges of my pool and in no time you have crystal clear water! I love this formula most as I’m able to swim about 15 minutes after pouring in. I definitely recommend HTH® Super Algae Guard, 32oz for anyone wanting to quickly clean their pool.

A Great Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so glad that I order this algae guard for my swimming pool. I have tried so many other brands and it seems like they did absolutely nothing, maybe even just made my algae situation worse. I was happy to find this product at a great price and the best part is that actually works to keep my kids swimming in our pool all year round.

How much do I need?

Some directions on the website would certainly be helpful. I have no idea how much to use for a 24' round pool. I'll keep looking elsewhere.

Didn't help

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok so my pool finally turned green and I used this to help get rid of the algae I followed the instructions to a T and still my pool is green. I was really hoping it would help me eliminate the problem. This happens every summer wish I had something I could really trust.

Keeps it clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This helped my pool out so much. O wasn't sure how or why I kept getting all that green stuff in my pool. I tried this and it kept it clean and free of the green algae. I also used another product with it at the same time. Made such a big difference.

Perfect to remove pool algae

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Super Algae Guard is perfect to use if your pool has some pool algae. It is simple to use and really does make a difference. It is in a convenient bottle and the instructions are easy to follow. We liked using it on ours in the middle of the summer when we noticed a light trace of algae forming and this did the job.

HTH Super Algae Guard

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have used this product in the past and it has worked pretty well considering the heat here in Arizona. The product stands up and does a good job considering the extreme weather in the summer. . I would recommend this product.

Foaming?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used the HTH Super Algae Guard in our pool recently. Being in the hot Florida sun, we can get algae build up pretty fast. Directions were simple and easy to use. No strong odor which is great. However, it supposed be nonfoaming. I didn't find this to be accurate, did have foam for at least 48hrs after using product. Butbit certainly didn't stop us from enjoying the pool and helped prevent the algae.

Bye bye algae

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's nice to have this stuff around to keep algae away. I use it frequently and it really helps keep my pool beautifully blue. You should buy a few bottles and keep it on hand. It never hurts to have the right product around for the job.

Work like a charm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] it prevents the algae build up in the pool. It comes in an easy to read graduated bottle. The bottle has a decent cap to keep it closed so there is a good safety seal on the lid. It helps to maintain the treated water at a better balance longer, especially during the rainy season. Upon applying it only took about 2 hours to clear the pool. It works really well. I am happy with the product and will recommend it to my friends.

Good Stuff

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The HTH Super Algae Guard works great, I been using it for three weeks and it eliminates algae overnight. Since it is super concentrate all you use it a few ounces so the bottle lasts a long time. My pool is super clear now and I would buy again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you have any algae growing in your pool this is the best stuff to use! It is amazing and works quick! I have used this a few different times and this and it takes very little time to start seeing results. This will not disappoint!
