What Customers Are Saying
Customers are divided on this popcorn ceiling scraper. Most praise the attached debris bag for reducing mess significantly and catching over half the debris, with many calling it a "life saver." The tool works exceptionally well on unpainted ceilings, with users reporting jobs completed in 30 minutes versus a full day with alternatives. However, many report it fails on painted ceilings, with the blade bending or unable to penetrate paint. Several criticize the blade as too flimsy and prone to gouging drywall, while others note the bag is too heavy and falls off easily. Despite mixed results, most find it worthwhile for unpainted applications.

12 inches….yeah right
Would Not RecommendThis product does not scrape a full 12 inches, the blade bends and can only scrape about 2 inches at a time.
Crap DO NOT BUY
Would Not RecommendShould’ve paid attention to the one stars. I’m better off scraping the ceiling with my teeth. Ended up using a 4” putty knife and finished 300% faster.
Not good for popcorn ceiling removal!
Would Not RecommendWhen I bought this the reviews and YouTube videos gave promise but the rest is history! It was way too flimsy and ending up gouging the ceiling even though I bent the ends, as suggested. Would not recommend.

Swinging bag weight.
Would Not RecommendThe scraper did cover a large sweep at each pass, however the bag created weight and it swung back and forward. The motion msde it hard to keep the tool level.

$24 piece of junk
Would Not RecommendWe were using a standard 12" drywall knife to scrape our popcorn ceilings (weve done this many times before), and it was going extremely well, no issues, no damage to the drywall, etc.. but we got tired of cleaning up between scraping sections, so we decided to give this a try since it allowed for the use of a bag to catch the popcorn we scraped off the ceiling. HOWEVER.. The scraper blade was not perfectly flat and it had a manufacturing defect in it which was a small bend in the blade, so it ...
Getting rid of the popcorn ceiling
Would RecommendI like the product that is very useful however there were no bags available so I had to improvise with bags from home. Sales staff was very helpful in picking this item out.

Not great
Would Not RecommendAnything it scraped did fall into an attached bag. However, we couldn’t use it on most of the ceiling. It was too flimsy to handle any rough spots. Had to use a paint scraper instead. I would not get your hopes up too much for this tool. I did go over the whole ceiling with this after we scraped off all the popcorn and it did a nice job with the little bits that were left.

Very easy to use

Not quite ridged enough
It scraped the popcorn ceiling well after saturating the ceiling with water and waiting a few minutes. The brace that holds a bag is ok for small areas but fills up too fast, so you might as well put down a drop cloth. The only real problem is that the scraper is not ridged enough. It bends and requires you to straighten it frequently.
