Ratings & Reviews for Hitachi 24-cc 2-cycle 441-CFM 170-MPH Gas Handheld Leaf Blower

Died after only a few years

Had this one years ago. when it worked, it worked fine. THen it got to the point where i was spending 15 minutes pulling to try and start it. Once in a while it would fire up (after the aforementioned 15 mintues) but many times it didn't. Gave up and threw it away. Spend a little more and get something decent.

Best leaf blower I ever owned.

Best leaf blower I ever owned! Of course they no longer make it.

Fantastic Leaf Blower

I purchased this originally around September 2020. It has worked great for my stone patio debris blow off. I like it so much that I wish I had purchased an extra one. I am disappointed they don't produce these anymore. I keep it in my favourites list should they ever produce them again!

Starts everytime

I've been running this blower for 12 seasons and it has never filed to start blows extremely hard and is the most reliable piece of equipment I have. Only complaint would be how it can suck your close into the intake but that's nothing but a little bother. Definitely recommend.

I've never seen something like this.. Buy it!

Cold Harsh winters sitting un used in your shed? Same spark plug, air filter, fuel filter and carb since 2012? Using 2 year old mixed gas in a dirty old can? Doesn't matter, this insane peice of machinery will start within 2 pulls.. every.single.time..... just buy it

Wish they were still available

This is one of the best lawn blowers I have ever owned. It is lightweight, easy to start, powerful, and does not use much fuel.

Best made ,easiest starting.

had this blower for 5 years. It always starts on the 2nd pull. Runs like a top... if it ever breaks I'm buying another one.

Best blower I've ever owned!

As many of you are probably all too familiar with, gas-powered yard tools are notoriously difficult to maintain. They'll run great that first season, but it seems that they're never the same after that. That is definitely not my experience with this blower. I've had mine for about 6 years now and it still cranks on the first 1-2 pulls. On top of that, this thing puts other blowers of this size to shame. It has serious power, and the only time I have to break out the rake is when I've accumulate...

Works until it doesn't

Easy to start, ran well until it didn't. Primer return line started leaking, then spraying fuel. Replacement difficult because fuel tank attachment bolts were frozen with LocTite. Jury-rigged a fix Z& now it runs fine again.

Fragile and a pain to fix even with 7yr warranty

Blower began as a wonderful outdoor tool. However, less than two years old, and the blower is now defunct. The service options I have are an hour away from me and I am debating whether to "junk" it or to go through with the annoyance of driving it 50 miles away for service.

It will blow you away.

Even my 6 year old grandson could use it. Starts and works easily. Great blowing power. It really does the job.

The best blower I’ve ever had

I bought this blower from Lowe’s and it is the best blower I have ever bought! It was Hitachi at the time and came with a 7 year warranty, Wow! I don’t understand why it’s being discontinued unless they last so long that buying a new one isn’t needed. They last! Amazing. I just changed the spark plug in it today. I believe I have had it 10 years now. They never got the ink they deserved. What a shame to not produce it anymore.

It’s a great value.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This blower is the perfect combination of price, quality, power, and value. It’s super sturdy and you can tell by its construction that it’s built to last. For a weekend warrior like me, it’s just what I need to get the job done.

Solid Performer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this blower because I needed something that could handle all the leaves on my four-acre property. This little guy really did the job, starting every time, running smoothly, always performing at its peak. It is a shame to see it discontinued and I hope Metabo will bring it, or another one, back on to the market. I highly recommend.
