Repurposed bushing as bathroom sink drain washer!

This 1 3/8 inch bushing works well as a washer under the rubber Mack washer that seals a 1 1/4 inch drain fixture to a bathroom sink. The ID of this bushing is a good fit for the drain pipe. While the zinc plated steel material is not ideal for a plumbing application, this is all I could find in the hardware section that fit. Better and cheaper than buying a complete new drain assembly, most of which are made entirely of plastic now.
