Ratings & Reviews for Hillman 1/4-in x 28 Stainless steel Steel Regular Nut -Count
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise these wing nuts for reliable performance and ease of use. The wing design allows hand-tightening without tools, making them ideal for battery hold-downs, boat lights, and folding panels. Many commend the stainless steel construction for resisting rust and withstanding heavy torque without bending or stripping threads. Reviewers consistently report precise sizing and compatibility with bolts. A small number experienced isolated issues like one wing breaking or lightweight construction, but these concerns represent a tiny fraction of feedback. Overall, most customers find them exactly what they needed and recommend them highly.

works well
Screwed on nut as expected
Did the trick, but had to buy two
This winged nut worked for my pole saw, but really wanted a flanged wing nut and only needed one, but only selling them in pairs. At a dollar a piece ($2 for the two) seemed a lot, but in line with everything else these days. Was happy to get it.

Those wings make these little guys fast.
Would RecommendI was so happy I found these to replace the ones I lost for my battery hold down in my car. But when I got them home and out of the bag they flew away. I had to go back and get 2 more. So be careful cause they will get away from you if you aren't watching them. Other than that mishap they are great.
