Would Not RecommendI tried to install 2 of these in 3/4" OSB and both failed by breaking at the hex opening. I'm returning the rest and ordering some hardened ones online. I should have read the reviews before I bought them.
Good for anchoring in a wood door frame.
Would RecommendGot the job done on a door hinge mount where the wood screws had pulled out. These were inserted into the holes in the door frame and screws fastened snugly into them. Problem solved.

more than half split during insertion
Pre-drilled and dry-fit multiple inserts and half of them split between halfway to 3/4 of the way in. Pre-drilled a few to 11/16 and they still split during installation. Material was 1.5mm fiberglass and 1/2" marine grade plywood

Would RecommendSo glad we found these! We had a small table which had two legs that fell off due to the screw holes being wallered out. These were perfect by hammering them into the hole, then the screw fit perfectly. The table is like new again.
