What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise these T-nuts for reliable performance and secure hold in hardwood applications. The 3-prong design bites firmly into wood, and the threaded inserts accept standard 1/4-20 screws smoothly without stripping. Installation is easy—users drive them in by hand or with light hammering, even in dense oak. Reviewers report successful use in furniture repair, cabinetry, and shelving projects. Build quality is consistently commended as solid and well-made. A few users encountered bent prongs in softer woods or occasional tooth shearing with repeated use, but most consider them a reliable solution for secure fastening.

Would RecommendI needed to repair a stripped out bedpost spindle and this product was the perfect fix. After tapping in the 3-prong tee nut, the spindle knob is now secure and tight fitting
Good Quality
Would RecommendThese work fine for wood; drive in well; stay put. Screws thread on nicely. Plating quality very good. Wish that Lowe's sold these in more than the 2 pack, and stocked more than 10 packs at a time!

Disappointing Tee Nut
Would Not RecommendIt's a standard tee nut so how could it be messed up? Its a tee nut.....
Would RecommendThere is not much to review on a hardware item. It is manufactured cleanly without burrs or other aberrations. Threads were clean and accurately fit the screw. The plating was even and clean.
Below Standard
Would Not RecommendThese seemed to be pretty good tee nuts, but in attempting to install them I found the prongs to be absolutely dull. I was installing them in the bottom of a chair seat and had to drill pilot holes before I could get them into the wood. They are probably okay for a very soft wood, but anything harder than pine requires either a pilot hole for each prong or sharpening the prongs. I didn't opt for sharpening because I didn't want to weaken the prongs so much that they would break. This needs a re-...
