Ratings & Reviews for Hillman 1/4-in Nickel Cap Nuts

What Customers Are Saying

Customers overwhelmingly praise these nuts for durability, reliable performance, and professional finished appearance. Most highlight that they fit perfectly, protect bolt threads, and provide a clean look across bathroom remodels, furniture, and fence repairs. Reviewers consistently note the nuts hold securely without vibrating loose, even in high-use outdoor applications, with many comparing them favorably to hardware used for years. The smooth zinc plating offers a subtle, non-shiny aesthetic that complements projects. A small group reports difficulty handling due to compact design, particularly those with larger hands, and a few mention receiving nuts with incorrect threads. Overall, most customers find them reliable and worthwhile.
