This might have been a bit overkill, but that is how I do most of my projects. I cut the insulation into the sizes that I needed and then used these screws to hold it to the door. These work great for my use
Would RecommendI used them to install Plexiglas in frames for a screen room. The wide small profile head with a washer like width allowed them to secure the Plexiglas to the frame without harming the screen they are installed against for the winter. I'm glad Lowes had them as a stock item.
