The serrated edge really helps slicing and not tearing steaks and chops Love the stainless stain handles, which looks better in my home as opposed to the more traditional wooden handle look. This are dishwasher safe, and always look beautiful. Great set of steak knives, quality I've come to expect with Henckel products.

Also the set of eight allows for company without having to buy more knives.The sharp serration even does a good job on a well done steak.

Would RecommendI got these knives to expand a set we bought maybe 15 years ago. I was astounded to find them and to see they are a perfect match. They are extremely high quality, as evidenced by the 15 years of use out of the previous set. I've never sharpened them and they still look brand new. I'm looking forward to many more years with an even larger set.
