great slices
Would RecommendThis knife is great. It is super comfortable to hold. The blade is very sharp and gives me consistent thin slices. The price is very approchable for the quality you get. I look forward to purchasing more pieces from this line.

Very Sharp
Would RecommendThis is my first Asian style knife, and not my last. Love the hollow edge which prevents food from sticking. The angle on this knife is more acute than a traditional chef knife which makes it a lot sharper. The half bolster makes sharpening and honing a breeze, and also allows for a larger cutting surface. It is dishwasher safe which is a definite bonus, and the German steel is stain resistant and extremely durable. The full tang adds weight to the knife which is sometimes absent in a Japan...

A Must have for Veggie Chopping
Would RecommendThis is a comfortable, sharp knife to use. For the price, it's a great addition to any knife collection. The Santoku is such a great choice for chopping, dicing and slicing vegetables and fruit. The veggies slide off the blade so easily, they don't stack up like they do on other knives. And a Great Price!

Very Comfortable
Would RecommendThis is a great, lightweight knife that makes chopping and prep work very easy. The curved handle is more comfortable to hold than other straight sided knives, and it allows me to cut for a longer time without feeling fatigued. This is a really nice value for what you get with this forged knife.

My favorite knife
Would RecommendI use a 7-inch santoku almost exclusively. I cut a lot of vegetables and prep a lot of chicken, fish and seafood, and this shape and size handles it all easily. From butternut squash to prawns, I can get almost everything done with this knife. This handsome line of Forged Premio knives is forged from German steel and made to very exacting standards. The fine edge blades made from high quality stainless steel can take and hold an edge ensuring years and years of enjoyable use. Hone them regularly...

Can't be the True Cost!
Would RecommendThis knife surprised me! It's balanced, tough and sharp...not to mention comfortable grip for nominal price!

A good knife at a good value. I picked this one up as stocking stuffers for the young adults in our family. It is such a great deal and value wise, you are getting German steel and the 3 rivet handle. The Santoku quickly becomes one of the most used knives in the kitchen and years later, they are all loving the knife and still using it.

Great all around knife
Would RecommendI love using this knife for everything I need to cut up! I don't like using a chef's knife because I don't like that it is longer than this santoku knife and I find that I poke myself with the end sometimes. I love the feel of the handle and how comfortable it is in my hand.

This is a great Santoku knife! I love the shape of the handle, so comfortable and the blade hits the cutting board with a flat long area so you can cut piles of herbs so easily. I know tht it is perfect for chopping but until I tried a few different things I had no idea how versatile this style knife is. its a great deal on a forged knife in a profile I did not already have!

Nice Santoku
Would RecommendThis is a great starter santoku. With a sharp blade and a forged bolster the curved handle is comfortable while chopping. The hollow air pockets on the blade allow your veggies to release as you go without sticking to the blade.

Good entry knife
Would RecommendThis is a good entry level knife for a new cook or someone who is wanting to try a new style of knife. The handle is super comfortable and the blade is very sharp. It cuts with ease.

Good addition
Would RecommendThe santoku is a good addition to any set. The "dimples" on the blade help sticky food release. This knife is forged and made of German steel so it is sharp and will hold it's edge well.

Hollow edge that creates barrier!
Would RecommendSantoku is perfect for chopping vegetables and fruits. Hollow edge makes it more easier to separate steel and food, it is less messy and it is dishwasher safe. A forged blade for ts exemptional.

Prep and More Prep
Would RecommendThis knife is a workhorse for all those big prep jobs. The handle is comfortable and a pleasure to hold. My husband even remarked that he liked the handle. I like the hollowed edge, it helps push the food away as I am slicing.

Mince, Chop , Slice
Would RecommendI read that Santoku means "three Virtues" and that these virtues are mince, chop and slice. I think that sums up the virtues of this 7" knife. It's got good balance and feels solid in your hand.
