Man this knife is of really great quality and I’m So glad I started with this. It is an excellent starter knife and I Definitely recommend it. the balance in your hand is similar to the higher end ones. It is precise in cutting, it cuts/slices anything beautifully. I can recommend this knife wholeheartedly, it is worth the investment, I will have it for a lifetime. Best knife I ever used
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This chef’s knife is replacing a Calphalon chef’s knife. There is no comparison!! My Henckels knife is incredibly sharp and very easy to handle. It’s got some weight to it, yet is very comfortable in my hand. Cutting and trimming meat with this cuts my time in half. I will never purchase another brand of knives. Well worth the money!!

Just ok
Would Not Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The knife is good until it isn’t. I had this knife and used it daily for about a year and a half when the handle started to crack. Only hand washed it, never left in sink. I think it’s a larger issue with the henckles products being made in China. Sent back to henckles only to have them take 6 months to send a new set. Would not purchase again.

Best work horse!

I have had dozens of knives through out the years, but this knife is always my go to! It holds an edge and is super comfortable to use in the kitchen. I give it a good honing and it's good to go for weeks!
