Would Not RecommendReceived these knives as a gift from my son after commenting on how much I thought his Henckels knives were some of the nicest knives I had seen. The difference is that his knives were not the micro serrated variety and he (erroneously) purchased these for my wife and I. These knives may work for some, but I find that the micro serrations just rip the meat in most cases. The large knife is near useless as a carving knife. Would RecommendI'm very happy with this knife set. The block is nice wood and has a small footprint. The knives have a nice weight to them and are comfortable to use. This set is very much worth the price.
