Portfolio LED string lights

I purchased 4 of these string lights for the bushes in front of my porch. I really like them and would recommend them as I wanted some lights that didn't have to be plugged in. Of course, if there's no sun during the day, no lights, but that hasn't been a real problem. Much easier than extension cords and finding enough outlets!

Solar lights for lamp post.

I love the product. It works perfectly. I purchased it for my lamp post for the holidays. My only reason for giving it a 4 star instead of 5 is because it listed on the box as warm white lights which I was hoping for and it came with cool bright white lights instead.

Perfect lights!

I bought some lights similiar to these from Target, Philips brand, and the cable of these compared to the philips are thinner but they last longer on. These were way cheaper so essentially I could buy 3 of these vs 1 of philips brand. We'll see how long they'll last, but for right now they do what they gotta do and beat Philips.

Arbor Lights

I used this string of lights on an arbor out in the backyard. Easily installed and looks beautiful at night.

Misleading color

The lights work well but unfortunately the string is cool white ever though the packaging and information online say they are warm white. I was hoping they would match the longer string that I purchased at the same time which is in fact warm white. I do love the fact ,though, that I don’t have to use any electricity to run my Christmas lights.

Garbage

I’ve had them about 2 weeks and now there about 5 lights working on the whole string of lights ! Don’t buy them

Disappointed

I was so excited to get these but one has stopped working and the other one doesn’t stay lit very long at all.

Pretty good for the price.

These lights are a good deal for the price. 23 feet of lights sounds long but at least 2 feet do not have lights on the cord near the bottom by the solar panel. I wrapped around a small (2x2) round boxwood and it barely covers it. Lights themselves are pretty but have a blueish tinge to them and not as bright as I’d have hoped. So be aware if putting near other string lights they may not “match” the hue. They have an option to flash, too.

Didn’t charge on cloudy days

I only used them for 1 week before returning because on most days, they didn’t charge if it was cloudy.

I wrapped these around Christmas barb wire wreaths that go out on a fence. No electricity anywhere near these wreaths. They come on a dusk and are still on at dawn. Especially like the blinking feature.

Lasted 2 Days, Animal Ate Soy Covered Wires

What a waste of money and time. After a couple days enjoying several strings of these lights on a tree in our yard an animal (mouse? rabbit?) found the soy-based wire covering too yummy to resist. Ate right through both strands.

Easy to put around the tree and stays on for a long time. Love that its solar so no electric power needed. Bought 4...

Do not buy!!!

Came in one night, never worked again. Solar panel is in full sun all day. This is junk, IMO.

Sw OFF let charge all day in Arizona sun

Zero light. Checked three ni-cad batteries that came wuth set, 1.37volts each? think this would be scufficient to turn on leds?? Will try one more set??

Inconsistent battery

I bought two of these light sets. Both worked great, but I noticed that the lights went out almost immediately after sunset on one of the sets, while the other stayed on till near midnight. I swapped the solar cell base between the two, to see if shade was making a difference in charging time during the day. It turned out that the storage battery in the solar panel was defective.

update lights underwater

I dont know how to update my post below so im doing a new one. Im happy to report the lights are still working beautifully under the water of my fountain. However, i have noticed they dont hold a charge all night long. And we've had hot sunny weather here in CT so i know its been getting plenty of sun. They seem to die 4-6 hours after they come on. Im going to try replacing the batteries with a higher mAh raiting and see if that helps.

they work under water!

Just bought these today 8-2-20. i just finished making my own 3 tier cement water fountain. I wanted to add lights to it but didn't want battery operated ones which would need constant replacement. so I tried these lights. I figured for 9 dollars if I ruin them with water, no big loss.
