What Customers Are Saying
The rock salt ice melt product is generally effective at melting ice and snow, especially at lower temperatures. Many customers report it works quickly and is a good value. However, some have experienced issues with the salt being too hard or lumpy, making it difficult to spread. Additionally, a few customers noted it did not work well in extreme cold conditions. Overall, the majority of customers seem satisfied with the product's performance and price, though a minority have had negative experiences.

Great product
Would RecommendI felt that now is the time to buy it before I need it.
Snow melt that melts snow
No snow yet. But used this brand before. Product works well in a spreader and on the walkway.
Junk salt
This salt I bought for sidewalks this coming winter is junk. Apparently it was left over from last winter and stored outside and is totally in big clumps, no way to use with a push spreader.
Works well on light snow days
I have used this brand before and it has kept the sidewalks clear on light snow days. It rarely clumps and is easy to spread. I thought I’d get ahead of the game this year and buy it in October before the first snowfall and they sell out!

Ready!!!
Would RecommendWanted to get the elders prepared in advance. Ordered online; price was a consideration...previous reviews also an influence. LOWES made this purchase happen and product was delivered FAST! Also like the design of the product's packaging; easy to manipulate to pick up, grab & carry. Overall, a very satisfactory shopping experience thru LOWES.
