Would Not RecommendFor the price, it’s wild I have to buy a separate kit to make ice. Most of the door shelves split, splintered and straight up broke. Wonderful QR code inside the fridge led to leaving this review and to try and locate the ice maker and replacement parts only to find almost all are renamed, no longer available or replaced with a new/renamed part. Crappy navigation.

Would RecommendThis fridge is great. I wished it came with an ice maker. I did buy an ice maker and installed it myself, with a little difficulty. Ice is GREAT. The freezer space is small compared to my last fridge. But it is adequate.

I just received my refrigerator yesterday and in the process of letting it cool down to appropriate temperature before putting my food back in. A suggestion I have is making it that your digital temperature display tells you what the current temp inside your unit is while you wait and/or as a safety net if it changes to a temp other than what it is set for keeping your food safe. We keep buying this fridge!
We’ve purchased this model three times for consecutive homes! It suits us (there are two of us) but you might be challenged with the capacity for a larger family. It must be a popular item since the first one we purchased waz Probably about 8 years ago! They have made some improvements, one of which is a light in the freezer. OUR favorite feature is the freezer is accessed by doors NOT a drawer.

Both upper doors make lots of noise only two months after purchase. Does the basics so far. Not enough freezer space for larger items such as pizzas. Shelfing in upper chamber can use some more flexibility to allow for taller drinks.

We love the dimensions. The fridge is stylish and has good shelf and drawer layout. For this, we would give it 4 star rating. The icemaker is another story. The fill cup from the correct GE part number simply doesn’t fit. Our dealer serviceman did a “Maguire” modification to cut away the cup edge so the icemaker would fit at all in the freezer.
