What Customers Are Saying
Customers are divided on results, with roughly half reporting successful grass growth and a third expressing disappointment. Those who succeeded praise rapid, visible growth within days to weeks, often in challenging areas, citing consistent watering as key. Many highlight simple, hassle-free installation requiring no special tools. However, a substantial portion report no growth despite diligent watering and soil prep, frequently blaming wind, heavy rain, or cool weather. Some express frustration over value and inconsistent service. Overall, experiences vary significantly based on environmental conditions and care consistency.

Effective grass seed roll
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this roll of GrowTrax PRO grass seed roll 4-5 weeks ago. I put it in a corner of my yard that gets about half a day of direct sunlight. The grass grew really well. There were some weeds from the wind or birds. I used other grass seed next to the GrowTrax and the GrowTrax grew a lot better.

Some grass growing but taking longer than expected
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The idea is pretty innovative but the actual mat takes forever to break down. I put it down about 2 weeks ago and it has barely faded. It's a little bit of an eye sore. But I am starting to get some grass so hopefully it will be worth it.

Easy!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was perfect for the spots our blow up pool killed during the summer months. It’s super easy to unroll, cut, water and just leave in place. I want to try the wildflower one!

We're a sproutin'...

Great product, easy to use!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had an empty patch on our lawn for years that we tried to just ignore. Being able to try growtrax pro was such a great opportunity. It was so easy to lay down to place exactly where we wanted it and the quality is great. I’m so excited to see our lawn as it continues to grow! I still can’t believe how easy it was and don’t know what I didn’t use this sooner! Will absolutely be buying more for our backyard!

Eh
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's decent, but I don't think I'd buy it again. I think it planted a decent amt of seeds but they didn't stick super well. Super easy setup so that's good, Ill have to reevaluate if I plant them early next year!

Two weeks grass is thin, patchy and slow growing,
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used product around new pool so I wouldn’t have straw in my pool. Germination in ten days but has yet to come fully alive, dropped seeds planted a week after product is already thicker and twice as high. Holding out for a big change fingers crossed. Only hassle was wind even when wetted, had to use light coatings of compost to help it hold.

It was very easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This item came in a box about one and 1/2 x 4. It was lightweight. It was a roll that was very light. The instructions could’ve been a little better in. How are you use it it was a roll of grass seed and all you had to do is just water it. I had an edge of my deck that needed to be seated so I put black dirt down and rolled out the grass seed as much as I needed in that area, which took up probably half the roll and then I just but I just water...

Should have bought regular sod!
Would Not RecommendNot good at all. He didn’t grow just fell apart mainly when I watered it.
From GrowTrax
Worked as advertised
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Came in great, sprouts in less than a week, your product is a little pricey if you’re doing a large area
From GrowTrax
Works amazing!!!
Would RecommendThese rolls are amazing, so much easier than putting down the seed and grows full and thick.
From GrowTrax
No sprouts yet
Would Not Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to roll out and water. So far no sprouts yet and it’s been almost a week keeping it wet. Getting discouraged. Also the area estimator was way off and now I need almost another full roll of the pro. Wish the estimator was more accurate cause now there’s no discount if I order more. Waiting to order more to see if any grass even sprouts. Discouraged…
