Would RecommendPRODUCT WORKED WELL. I DID DRILL A SMALL PILOT HOLE AS TO NOT SPLIT THE 5/4 DECK BOARDS AT THE ENDS. Much better than a philip driven screw.

grip rite screw (green) 2"
Would Not RecommendI couldn't find the sheer rating. The green variety wasn't as easy to start as the Tan design for myself and especially for my Grand-Children. They learned very well on the tan design.
