Green Polymer Deck Screws
Would RecommendUsed the Grip-Rite PrimeGuard Plus #9 x 3-in Green Polymer Deck Screws to fasten the handrail to the vertical support stud between the rails. Screws would go right in with no splitting of the wood and tightened nicely.

Great product
Would RecommendHave gotten away from using nails and went to using screws. This is a great screw and I don't have to worry about it backing out like nails do. Far better holding strength.
