I like these fence staples fine but they would be nicer if they were barbed

Fence staples

I was adding some field fencing to a part of my property and bought these online with a few other items, they were definitely longer than normally have around. I would have rather had the 1 1/4” fence staples but of course it’s hard to visualize the actual length purchasing on line. I used the entire box, just had to hammer longer per staple.

A lot of shorter staples mixed in

The staples are of different lengths… I’m not sure why but the package I bought had a lot of mixed shorter cut staples.

Great buy

Holds hog wire very well. No issues with it so far.

They are fine. However i bought 3 bags of cement and all were split open and I’m not happy

Cheaply made garbage compared to GR brand

These are absolute cheap junk. They're too soft to go into hard posts and the thin galvanizing just comes right off! They also don't have any texture so they don't hold in the wood as well. The GR brand is far far superior in every way.

Cheaply made and bend far too easily

These aren't nearly as well made as other brands. I couldn't get a single one to go into my railroad posts and I've bought these 2 different times thinking one was a bad batch or something. The metal is just too soft so the mushroom out or just bend over. The galvanized coating on them is thin junk compared to others I've used. It comes off while hammering and flakes off when they start bending.

When you want a staple to hold!

This staple has good holding power under pressure from fencing with very pushy cattle. I think the ribbed design is what helps it hold its own. Whatever the reason, it did what I needed and for a reasonable price. (I made this specific purchase recently but have bought these before and always been satisfied with them)

Horrible Quality Control

These fencing nails are what they are, but I find there's at least 10% that are unusable due to terrible quality control. Many pieces are so uneven that they cannot be used to hold anything together. Get your product on track, Grip-Rite. I use these only because Lowes doesn't offer an alternative and I need to put up my chicken fencing.

Just an everyday usefull product purchse.

I used these types of staples for nearly everything that is either a wire, cable, rope or fencing. It keeps those items in place and are easy to remove with a barb wire pliers.
