Excellent trimmer, "meh" edger

It's quiet, has good battery life, and cuts very well. My only complaint is that it's somewhat difficult to keep the spinning mechanism off the ground 100% of the time so it scrapes against the ground. There is no guard and the material is just plastic so mine quickly wore through the plastic leaving the spinning mechanism partially exposed. Also, it's basically just a weed wacker, and while it's a very nice weed wacker, the edging function is not really that functionally. The metal bar to help ...

Trimmer

Works great, very fast rotation, light and effective. I use a larger battery that came with the chainsaw.

Battery Life

The battery does not last long so I use my hedge trimmer battery as back up to finish the job

Terrific product

I am a huge fan of Greenworks products. However, the string seems to have lasted through only two trimmings. My thought is I’ve had to edge quite a bit, and with the tough Florida weeds/grass, that might be the problem. The battery has not come close to dying with with usage. No gas, or oil is the absolute best for our Earth!

Trimmer/Edger Lightweight

It’s very lightweight and easy to carry while trimming. It got the job done for our small yard but took much longer than I expected, yet the battery never ran low.

Great trimmer and best buy

it is a great edger / trimmer , but the one we received had issue with the auto spool dispenser , so had to return . The trimmer is lightweight and easy to use . It uses single battery and charges. pretty quick .

Don't waste your money on this!

I got this trimmer as a deal with my GW mower. The convenience and freedom of going cordless was very appealing. However, from the time of its very first use, this piece of crap has been nothing but frustrating. No matter how many times you bump the spool (pro tip...DO NOT BUY A BUMP TRIMMER!) the dual lines constantly end up retreating inside the trimmer causing you to have to constantly stop, open up the spool, and reset them, only to have it happen again minutes later. Surprisingly powerful for such a compact unit

Lightweight and easy to handle, I tend to use this more frequently than my 80V full sized string trimmer. While understandably less powerful than its counterpart, it's enough to get most trimming around the house done.

Issue with battery life

Only issue is lack of battery life. Previous model had a much larger and longer lasting battery

Makes my life easier!

I recently bought this string trimmer to replace an electric one I had previously been using. This Greenworks one is a dream! Lightweight and easy to use and gets the job done. I am a 5'2 female and LOVE how lightweight this is! and adjustable for different users! Highly recommended!

24v 13” Torqdrive cordless trimmer

We have a large yard. Very handy to grab and go trim parts of the yard when you have time. My wife even takes it out and helps. Very convenient.

Nice light trimmer.

Nice and light forlight trimming jobs. No gas mix issues. Agood product.

Tap Function to Release Line Works Very Inconsistently

Overall the product is very cheaply built. The tap function did not work properly, took many, many taps to get the line to release. Had to tap hard a number of times and the twist lock of the arm broke, so the trimmer head would swivel around.

I love my trimmer/edger combo!

Quiet. Lightweight. Easy to maneuver. Easily stored. Takes up little to no space in my garage. Battery is long lasting. Easily changes from trimmer to edger and vice versa. I highly recommend the trimmer/edger combo

Another great Greenworks tool.

This is our 4th Greenworks tool and just like all the others it delivers above and beyond all expectations. Only downside is the cheep string it comes with.
