Ratings & Reviews for Greenworks Pro 80-volt max 16-in Straight Shaft Battery String Trimmer 2 Ah (Battery Included) (Charger Included)
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the 80V string trimmer and blower combo for exceptional power, quiet operation, and impressive battery longevity. Most highlight that performance matches or exceeds gas-powered models while being significantly quieter and lighter. The 2Ah and 2.5Ah batteries consistently complete full yard jobs on single charges, with many users appreciating the ecosystem compatibility across multiple tools. However, several customers report the bump feed string mechanism is unreliable, prone to tangling and jamming, with poor line separation causing frustration. Despite this flaw, most consider the overall performance and convenience worthwhile and remain loyal to the brand.

great trimmer
Excellent performance, high torque motor makes short work of heavy vegetation. Battery life is exceptional for the heavy load I put it through. Very happy and would recommend to anyone who wants to get tough jobs done.

Excellent quality
Would RecommendThis replacement part seems more heavy duty than the original part, like it will last twice as long.

Replacement shield fit perfectly. The original shield lasted for over ten years of heavy seasonal use, attesting to its durability. The original machine is still going strong.

Great design
Would RecommendThe thing is quiet and powerful. Did my whole lot 150x100 on one battery charge. It’s great- doesn’t make your ears ring and no fumes to breathe in.

Guard Blade Fell Off
Would RecommendPerfect fit for my trimmer, but after using for a week or so, the cutting blade fell off of the guard. Same thing happened to the original guard.
