Works great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this combo product and it worked great. Trimmed 6” branches with ease. The chain did come off but was able to put it back on with ease. Just remember, the chain go in one direction. It is a little heave but the steaks help a lot. The hedge trimmer worked great as well.

Surprisingly strong little chainsaw

I recently moved and needed to clear some trees in a wooded area ( 2-3 inch trees/saplings and fallen dead trees). I debated going for a gas chainsaw but elected to try the 24V as I already have a few tools with the 24V (the 4 amp was a nice boost). I’m glad I stuck with the battery saw for my simple needs. Perfect size for clearing branches, limbs, and small trees. Light but power

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been pretty happy with the chainsaw but it's tensioner mechanism is weak. Whatever component is supposed to keep the chain tight doesn't work anymore. I found a replacement for almost half the price of the saw. I'll probably try to find a more reliable tool. I bought it to use the same battery as my pole saw. I'm quite happy with it. This one is a bit of a disappointment.

Impressive

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this combo saw/trimmer a few weeks back. SO IMPRESSED with the overall quality and performance of this tool. It has been excellent with no issues to report. Battery runs a solid 40 minutes and charges in about 90 minutes. Neighbors want to borrow it now! My first purchase of a Greenworks tool, hopefully it lasts!

So simple

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got this handy saw and wow. It is so easy to use and very powerful. It made short work of thick branches.

Very useful tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] bought the tool to trim branches that I will be chipping since, I did not want to use a large chain saw. It works great, one handed and light and much safer for smaller branches than a larger two hand chainsaw.

This is my third tool from Greenworks and they are all execellent

I now have the 8’ 24V Pole saw and Shop Vac plus the 40 V Snow thrower and they are work perfectly with a lot of piswer and long battery life. I would recommend any of the tool Great tools great value!.

Great Little Tool

Works but chain keeps coming loose and popping off

I've had the saw for a year now. Its plenty capable for my needs cutting small limbs, trees, and some girdle and spray. The biggest issue, the chain jumps off the bar easily. I've been cutting with gas powered saws my whole life so I'm experienced when it comes to saw operation. I would not recommend any back cut with this or it will be jumping off the saw.
