[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this about a month ago. It works great! It was simple to put together & worked effortlessly from the start. It cuts through tall grasses with ease, is not too heavy & the battery lasts far longer than expected. Definitely recommend.

Reduce shoulder injuries!

Great Greenworks Tools

I have purchased an 80v 25" self propelled lawn mower, a 18" electric 60v chain saw and now a 80v weed trimmer and 730 cfm leaf blower. Quality products they are.

Long term

I have a garage full of 80v greenworks tools, all have worked well at first. My string trimmer gets little use and still works fine, except that loading string is now almost impossible. All the markings molded into the bump cap are completely ground away so it's no longer possible to line up the string to load. Spare parts are evidently not available, so what could be a perfectly good tool is now just garbage. My 21" lawnmower still works but the self powered feature stopped working last year an...
