Would RecommendI read the review that was written by a person from Maryland, but this is what I found out. The ones I bought from Lowes are 16 inches long, while the ones from the Home Depot are 30 inches long. The difference in price is about 50 cents, but the spikes are placed near the ends which allows the wood to be flimsy. The shorter ones are more stable and still allows you to make very nice curves.

Would Not RecommendI had bought some of these at Home Depot that are twice as long for $4, about half what they are here - same construction with spikes, but you'll need a lot of these to do any amount of serious edging.
