Ratings & Reviews for Gorilla Tough Clear Mounting Tape 1-in x 5 Feet Double-Sided Tape
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the strong, reliable hold and versatility of this mounting tape, with most noting it sticks to walls, metal, glass, and textured surfaces where other tapes fail. The clear, durable adhesive is frequently appreciated for drill-free hanging of pictures, shelves, and frames, with items remaining secure for weeks or months. Many value its discreet appearance and ease of application. Some report difficulty removing the protective backing, and a few note occasional adhesion failures in heat or over time, but these concerns are significantly outweighed by positive experiences.

Works as Promised.
Would RecommendThe tape held the pictures onto the wall with no problem. It was a little problematic getting the backing off of the tape but it wasn't insurmountable.

Needed a double sided outside tape
Would RecommendIt’s been about two weeks and so far so good. Don’t want to give a five if it fails in a week. I needed to hang something on my outside brick and didn’t want to drill into it. Found this and so far it is holding to brick and the weather. Hope it lasts for a very long time. Will definitely bring looking for other uses outside to test it out.

Useless
Would Not RecommendThis is a single sided tape. Backing does not come off. Even as a single sided tape it is inferior.

Little bit hard to apply but was very useful.
Liked this product but the peel off paper is difficult to remove and caused the tape to stretch.

Not as tough as advertised.
Would Not RecommendDidn’t stick to places I wanted it to stick to in my car. Back to square one to hide some wiring. Expected better from this brand.
