What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this heavy-duty tape for its exceptional strength and unmatched adhesion to nearly any surface—metal, plastic, wood, glass, and even wet materials. Most highlight its superior durability and weather resistance, successfully holding through harsh conditions like rain, snow, and UV exposure. Many appreciate that it tears by hand despite its heavy-duty nature and conforms to irregular surfaces while holding heavy loads. A few report residue upon removal or failure in extreme cold, and a small number mention difficulty unrolling. Overall, reviewers strongly recommend it as a reliable, versatile solution for both indoor and outdoor repairs.

I used black gorilla tape to cover weatherstripping along a short (about 7 in) spot at the bottom of my car door. I drag my foot over that spot getting in and out of the car so paying for weatherstripping replacement was cost prohibitive. The tape has lasted just over 2 years and has just started wearing to the point I will need to re-cover part of it. I took pictures this spring because I was so amazed at how it lasted this winter. It has withstood temperatures from -40 to +80 over the two...

Worth every extra penny
Would RecommendGorilla black tape is really worth every extra dollar. Recently my cars sunroof shattered due to a hail storm and because of increased demand, I wasn't able to fix it at the dealership's glass shop for over a month. I learned that using the cheaper duct tape brands really didn't cut it when it came to reinforcing my cars roof. I had to make 6-hour drives for work several times and there was a huge difference when it came to the brand of tape I bought. When I used other tape brands, I struggled t...

Lasts forever!
Would RecommendThis is the best tape out there! Far superior to another popular brand that uses Duck in its name. It stays stuck longer than any other product I've used. I used it to repair the edge of an area carpet in my classroom. It was vacuumed daily, shampooed yearly and had little fingers picking at it. It stayed on for years! Another use was to replace the rubber grip on a tricycle. Again, through heavy use by 100's of little hands it stayed stuck for years. It's also easy to tear with my old lady han...

Awesome Quality!
Would RecommendI used this duct tape for the first time and was happy with the results. I would comment that it is good quality and would purchase again if needed. My project was an outdoor project and if this does good in the weather and temperature changes, then I will definitely be a happy camper!

Didn't Hold
I tried this tape to seal a pin hole in a 1/2" drip line and it failed.

Colors please
Would RecommendI use this stuff for all my projects. Please though, can you start making it in hot pink? I'm sick of buying rolls only to have my husband steal them. The only thing that will deter this is if the vinyl is hot pink, because he won't want a girly color touching his precious manly stuff. All other craft and duct tape in hot pink is just not strong enough to hold like your brand does. Help a girl out. Make some colors men will refuse to touch because of color induced cooties.

Saved the weekend
Would RecommendWhen you are in the mountains riding side by sides on Memorial weekend and a bolt breaks that holds your A arm in place what do you do? You go to your bag of goodies and pull out the black Gorilla tape and wrap it up and continue riding for the next two days.

Great for connecting pieces of nylon screen
G-tape can be used for connecting pieces of nylon screen, by sandwiching the screen between two face-to-face pieces of G-tape and applying high pressure with a rubber roller. The pieces of tape form a strong bond and grip the screen.
