I used it on our vinyl swimming pool that had a 3“ x 2“ L shaped slit in it did it as directed worked fine later I found another small hole maybe a quarter inch long in a different place but I’ve already filled the pool so I tried it, putting it on under the water and It’s hasn’t leaked yet
