Ratings & Reviews for Google Nest Protect Smart Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detector Alarm (Battery)

Best investment to save your life if needed.

Easy set up and amazing how one smoke detector will communicate with another. If there is smoke downstairs it will tell the others what room its in. Highly recommend this product

Saved our lives

We had a leak in our exhaust pipe from our furnace and carbon monoxide was building up in our house. Nest detected the CO at 3 am and alerted us. I’m so thankful for this device!

It just works.

The setup was pretty easy - i like the functionality, just wish it wasn't as expensive as I needed many to cover my home. In spite of the price, it seem that the devices are still worth it to get a dependable connected system.

Needs to be in the Home Application

Love how it functions with other wired or battery Nest Protects within house hold. I am still awaiting for the conversion of this product to the home application then I would only need one application for most of my smart home devices

Easy to Setup and Install.

I purchased 1 Wired (S3003LWES) and 2 Battery (S3000BWES) to replace old detectors. All units were well packaged. I installed the Wired unit first and then added the two battery units the next day. The Wired unit mas manufactured in December 2023. The two Battery Units were manufactured March 2023, which means the units h...

Nest Smoke Alarm Review

Very easy instillation instructions. Beautiful case and lighting. Impressive syncing to companion units through iPhone app.

Pro’s include the ease of installation when your have the Nest app, the nightlight provided some light when it detects movement, the unit will notify us of alarms when away from home. Con’s: the unit I purchased was unopened but was already 3 years old. Hence paying full price for unit in which almost 1/3 of its u...
