Dont lie to make a sale.

The store I made this purchase from lied to me. Don't lie to make a sale. People have families to take care of.

Generator worked Perfect!

It worked perfect for us! We hooked it up and it kept 4 freezers, a tv, lights, etc going for around 10 or more hours on a 5 gallon gas tank! I would definitely recommend this to friends!! Thank you Lowe’s, you kept us from being in the dark during the ice storm of 2026! We were in the dark for 8 days because of the ice storm, before we purchased this generator!

A great generator for disasters.

Easy to use right out of the box!

Buy the gp 9400 not the 8250 the 8250 no tools

I like that it was easy to put together with tools to do it the right way

Gas or Propane AND Electric or Pull Start in one!!

It seems like it has it all. Dual fuel AND electric or pull start! It's Heavy! Have help from the box until assembly is complete. After, the "wheelbarrow" style tow arms help transport it. Seems solid built. Lights in house didn't flicker. Plenty of power so far!

have not started yet....time will tell

You may want to purchase a longer power cable.

I had an older generator that died just before a storm. Other persons were in the same situation and it was hard to find generators in stock. Lowe's brought in a small stock of these generators and I immediately bought it. Since then I noticed that this model is regularly sold for $200 more at competitors. Thank you Lowe's for not inflating the prices during a crisis. The only criticism I have of the generator is the power cable is only 3 feet long which means all the extension cords connec...

Easy to Start

I haven't had to use the generator yet - I just fired it up a couple of times to be sure it all worked, and it did. I like that it runs on gasoline and LP, it is easy to start and has a rope-pull start in case the battery is depleted. I like that a charger for the battery comes with it. It seems to be a good product. I already have a Generac pressure washer - second one - and I like their products and reputation. I do wish it had come with a cover, which I have now ordered. And it is heavy - but...

I like the ease of use of this product. After i got the wheels, feet & handle bars put on, it was faitly easy to maneuver around and get into place.

Weight

A little larger than I needed and fairly heavy. Will probably return for a smaller unit

FANTASTIC Product.

Easy and simple to hook up and going. . Used it for days during the ice storm here. Never missed a beat unless it ran out of gas. Ran 24/7 for days. Instant was awesome. Sinple for a Senior Citizen woman start.

It is not put together and takes about 1.5 hours

I was told the generator was already put together and ready to roll. No so! I’m a 69 year old female who had to lift this up to put the wheels on and another 1.5 hours put it together and wiring it up in the bitter cold. Thanks a lot Lowe’s!
