Missing Hardware

It was missing hardwear. Contacted Generac and they said they would ship withing a week. Didn't happen and contacted them again 2 weeks later. Didn't happen, so returned to Lowe's. If this is the customer service for a couple of nuts and boolts, noway would we trust them for warranty work! With how they did nothing about the missing hardwear, Lowe's management agreed that if we were to use aftermarket hardwear Generic might void the warranty. Sold Out by the New Lowes

Returned new generator as no idler to preserve full. Ordered more expensive one with idler. Lowes has not refunded money to credit card. New one arrived. Guess what, the new one is the same identical generator. Don't know if I can trust the present Lowes as they are either incompetent or something else

Great but a little noisy

Bought this generator in anticipation of bad winter storm approaching. Had a 15 year old generator that this new one was replacing. Thankfully winter storm did not knock out my power. Generator was packaged well. Went together like instructions said and fired right up after oil and gas fill. Thankful of the electric start. Am satisfied with the quality of machine. Now I have a new one if I need it.

Never works off of propane only gasoline. Provides dirty electricity at 63-64 hertz.

First start - Fuel Squirting out the side of Carb!

Bought this Generac a few weeks ago. Just unboxed it, added oil and gas. Started it up and gasoline squirted all OVER the place, from the side of the carb! Nice job, Generac! NOW what do I do?

Out of the box it did not work( Generator) /called store and Generac and they keep transferring me around and saying it had to be returned in 48 hours during the snow storm which they knew was impossible! I did not buy to return but I certainly am not going to find out what's wrong and buy parts to fix it myself so if anyone can tell me where else i can go to find some answers please do because Lowe's will not help.

DO NOT BUY!!!

After 12 hour s of running, the motor started leaking oil. After 33 hours the GCFI outlets kept tripping with no load on them! Called GENERAC and was told to take it to an authorized repair shop. The shop said this is a common issue and they are hard to fix because GENRAC subbed the engine building out to some cheap factory in Taiwan!! Looks like I may be OUT 1000+ dollars!!!!
