Great machine, choice of running on three fuels

This has been the best generator I have ever owned, so far have run it only off propane. No gas going stale in the tank best choice I have ever made!!

Awesome

I bought this after a heavy rain storm that knocked out the power. No power, no sump pump. Heavy rain forecast for the next day. Fortunately the storm passed without any issues. I am ready for the next storm.

Needs a load meter

during recent power outage, the generator work efficiently, running 9 hours on about half a tank of gasoline. However, lacking a load indicator, I had to closely monitor gas usage because I didn't know how much load was being carried so I couldn't know how long the tank of gas would last (based on the literature noting the tank of gas would last approximately 9 hours at half load) This is a great machine, but without a load meter it must be monitored nearly constantly lest it run out of gas...

It starts and runs great. The only problem is it is missing a pin for the handle. I called Generac and talked to a person and he said he would ship one pin and never did.

Reliable and Powerful generator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This generator came almost fully put together. Super simple instructions for putting together/use and I love how powerful it is. It's easy to fuel up and set up the controls aren't to complicated. We used it with multiple bad snowstorms this last year and it never let us down. Would absolutely recommend and it's worth every penny.

“Portable” Generac

Some of you will already be aware of how this works, but for those who are not, I hope this review is helpful. We purchased this generator at the end of January ahead of a predicted ice storm. leaked gas everywhere, now wont start

Like many reviews here, right out of the box this thing leaked gas everywhere, enough where it felt like a fire hazard. After looking around on the internet, these models have a well-known issue with the carburetor float not working properly. After awhile, the leak stopped, but now less than month later I go to crank it and get nothing. So it worked, poorly, for thirty minutes. Solid Generator

My generator has worked flawlessly since I purchased it. Unfortunately I have been unable to get it to work as I had intended, which is to run my pool circulation pump during winter power outages. I have verified through multiple electrical experts that my connection from the generator to the pool equipment is correct. Didn't even get a chance to use it/ it failed.

I bought this new generator new in the box for our deer camp. We unboxed it and added the oil and clean gasoline and started it. It was gushing gas out of the carb so we had to shut it down. When we called Menards to bring it back for an exchange they said that they don't take them back and we had to bring it to a certified repair shop that was 75 miles away from our camp. Overall, very good quality and features.

Just bought this a month ago and haven't had the need to use it yet. But I did have to assemble the handle, wheels, add oil and gas and start it. My review is solely based on that. The wheels were relatively easy to assemble, keeping in mind that the machine is heavy and you will need to lift it on blocks, or use a helper. They give you a perfectly shaped funnel to add the oil. Only used 1 weekend so far,easy setup and started on first push on electric start all weekend!!! Love it!!!

I bought my unit based on its dual fuel capabilities however starting it in LP mode is a bit of a challenge.

Bought generator on Amazon black Tuesday. Still breaking it in. Electrician said it was a good product. Starts easy with on or two pulls . Hope I never have to use it to run the house but if bad weather sets in I will be ok.

Luckily have not had to use it yet but our old one was a generic and we were happy with it so sure this one will be good also
