Very efficient but fragile

I have so many issues with this very expensive induction stove. The menu is awful. The app is atrocious. But--those things are not worrisome. The thing is--this stove is downright dangerous. You see what makes me REALLY very upset about this stove is that less than 48 hours ago, I was cleaning my stove as I do often and moved the pressure cooker which was on one of the burners. Don’t fall for their rebate claims they are a scam

The product seems to work exactly as advertised but it’s also still new. What I would caution is the claims on rebates. I’ve spent hours trying to get my rebate and every time I submit a claim with pictures and receipt there is another crazy request from the rebate center as to what more they need. Feels like a total scam to rope you in with them making it next to impossible to get the claim paid. I’m actually curious how many rebates they actually refund.

A Love-Hate Relationship

I really wanted to love this appliance, but I am finding it difficult to adjust to its operation. While I am very impressed with the oven features, I am finding the stovetop to be quite challenging to use. Unfortuntaley, I am vertically challenged and always hit the burner controls. I will just have to adjust. I have ordered an entire new set of cookware, so that should help as well. Love the smooth top; so easy to clean. It's a beautiful range and fits nicely with my other GE applicances.

There’s a learning curve but worth it!

I am a grandma who has cooked on gas ranges in all the kitchens I have cooked, and here I am, switching to induction… and I love the precision cooking! Especially the oven probe and no preheat air fryer. The design panel’s slight tilt towards the cook is a nice design feature, but be careful of the exposed glass upper edge! I noticed a small chip in mine only after a few weeks of use, bummer.

Induction cooking has a new fan!

I've used this range practically every day for a month and haven't found anything I don't like. My stainless cookware was compatible with induction cooking so it only required a slight learning curve to adjust to induction cooking. It is a vast improvement over electric! Water boils in about 2 minutes, burner adjustments respond immediately and maintain even temperature, the cooktop only gets hot from heat transfer from the pot, but not hot enough to burn any spills. Very good but could be better

This range is beautiful and cooks very nicely. I have only two quibbles. One is that the "bridge" on the left side simply coordinates the two burners, but does not heat the space between them. So when I try to use a two-burner griddle it does not heat evenly in the middle. The second is that the panel with the controls does not clean easily, and gets smeared with a touch of a finger.

Great range

I love my induction slide-in range. I had purchased one for my last home and bought a new one (same GE range) when we moved because it is a great range.

Haven't had enough time with it !

So far, I love it! It was delivered the day before I left on a 2-week vacation so I haven't cooked enough on it and in it. I love the way it looks in my kitchen. Solid Performance

It's a very handsome thing in the kitchen, and unfortunately, yes, that was a very important factor for me in this purchase. Cooktop heat is fast and responsive. Oven heat is accurate. I love the sleek control panel and the sweet little chime tones. Today I used bake, broil, cooktop warming zone, timer and one burner in the course of about 10 minutes and it was all smooth, accurate and intuitive. Induction is better than electric!

So far, so good. We've only had this unit for a few weeks, and we love it. Much happier with the induction stove top versus the electric range we had. The temperature of the stove top is much easier to control. The oven heats quickly and supports Wi-Fi controls, so I can preheat it before I get home to make dinner. It's Alexa-compatible, so I can also start it from another room in the house. The design is wonderful. Controls are in the front, easily accessible.

Range of the future!

I replaced my gas range with the GE Induction range. I haven't used some of the features yet, but I love the speed my food cooks on the stovetop. I just made a cake in the oven and it came out beautiful, even and perfect. I wanted to try the air-fry option but hadn't connected my stove to the wifi yet. It is now and sends me a text when it is preheated. Pretty Cool! That will be my next test. I am happy to not have all that carbon dioxide spewing off my old stove in the house any longer.

First Induction Experience is Good!

I really like how clean this range looks and works. My only complaint is that the large cooking ring on the front right side is too big for most pans. I am accustomed to using that burner on my former gas stove as the default, so I have to make that adjustment. Otherwise, love it!

Great purchase!

Love the slick design. Switching to induction from gas was a great choice. I haven't tried operating the range from my phone but I do have the app installed. The control prompts make it easy to navigate.

Unsafe design

I really wanted to love this. I had a Kitchenaid and replaced it for this one because the oven was impossibly difficult to clean. I have had a GE profile gas range in the past and loved the oven and how easy it was to clean the black racks. With this model, I have scalded myself several times opening the oven door to take food out. I open the door, and as I’m reaching in to get my food, I get a blast of hot air and moisture that scalds my forearms. I feel this is a design flaw having ...
