lights to bright for the person sitting down next

it would be nice if the lights had some kind of shield. very bothersome with the brightness sitting next to the stove at an island. is there such a shield that is available or would you consider trying to fabricate something that would shield the person sitting at an island from such a bright light?

perfect fit

I am very happy with this hood. I had limited space and this was perfect. Its streamlined and looks great. The lighting is really nice. Strong airflow, just a bit loud. Super easy controls.

Modern hood!

The appearance is especially delightful! White finish matched our stove.

Poor quality

The quality of this range hood is terrible for the price. I have received two different units and both made very poorly. The first one had missing screws and rivets that were pulled through the metal right out of the box. The second unit has a fan wheel with about 1/4" runout and vibrates like a jackhammer when turned up to high speed. I emailed the local Lowes warranty Rep. and have not heard back.

Sleek and well worth the money!

Love the look of the low profile hood vent! It has completed our kitchen’s look, install was pretty easy took about 45mins to remove old microwave and replace with the hood vent.

Great overall

It works very well and the noise isn’t really loud. The style is really nice and I do like the lights attached to it. It works really good and smoothly.

Multiple problems

The installation process is horrible. the mounting bracket only allows you to mount the unit all the way to the rear, up against the back wall. Then with a 7”duct bracket being in the rear of the unit you have no room to duct tape around the entire unit.

Nice hood!

Very nice looking range hood... do gar so good 👍🏾 I looked in all the big box stores, but ordered the GE... it's much nicer. The electician that installed it also thought the same. It came with all the items and the installation was easy.

Good choice for the price.

Installation instructions were easy to follow. Multiple choices for ducting, vertical, horizontal or internal. Lighting is good and the fan is quiet & effective. 2 choices for mounting, mounting direct to the wooden cabinet was better here.

Average, expected more from GE

When fan is on high speed, the entire unit shakes. Front corners of unit are too sharp…should be better designed to avoid sharp corners.

I had Lowe’s install. They did a professional job

Replaced our 30 year old range hood. Big difference with the bright LED lights and the filters are easy to remove, wash and replace. It’s quiet and looks great.
