Horrible!! Do not buy!!

We absolutely hate this stove. The setup of the eyes does not use the space efficiently for starters. Next, it only has one large eye. Finally, it loves to turn itself off. If you set a hot lid down near the buttons, the whole stove shuts off. Hot water that has condensated on a hot lid drips onto the surface near the buttons, it's all going off. Very annoying to come back to check on your simmering food to find it's just off. Can you have wet fingers and operate the buttons? No, no you can't. I...

power grill easy to break down

We bought it in 2018. The power grill broke down in 2020 after one year warranty expired. It is the most expensive element of the product to replace. It cost, labor plus part, 2/3 of what I originally paid. Now in 2024 it broke down again. Not sure if it is worth fixing. Most cooktops are supposed to last 10 - 15 years.

Doesn’t work

It doesn’t work for using for more than 1 year. I don’t know how to fix it

Week cooktop cracked within in 1.5years

Our previous similar cooktop from different company lasted >15years. This current cookttop from GE MODEL #JEP5030STSS already got a major Crack. We bought this just 1.5 years ago. Hoping if company will contact to get replacement.

Cooktop cracked after 18 months

We had this product for a year and a half and the glass cooktop cracked. The crack spread like one on a windshield unfortunately, getting it fixed is not as easy as going to Safelite. It looks like we will have to buy a new one. Merry Christmas! Not exactly the way I want to spend my holidays. Another con with this product is that there was only one large burner. My wife is Italian and cooks a lot for family and friends. She often needs to use two large pots. So she wasn't happy about this after...

Just so so

It fit well, replacing a similar cooktop. I am very displeased with how finicky it is with cookware. I obviously have appropriate equipment i.e All-Clad, LeCrueset. All flat bottom. It marks up the surface leaving the marking of the pan!! What?!! I see why it is discontinued. If you get a great price, fine. But just an okay product.

Decent cooktop

It meets my needs except when I need two large burners. I love the fast boil feature, but it continues to boil even at the lower settings. So far it is easy to maintain.

Functional and beautiful

Looks like a slab of black glass. No knobs to work around. Heats water to a boil instantly. Exactly what I was looking for. It was a floor display. So accidental find. Lucky!

Product is well designed, simple and applies to our needs. Nice controls and turns off and on quickly. Sleek. Easy to install.

Does not work as expected.It takes for ever cook.

It wont heat rapidly. It takes for ever to cook or boil water. I even got an electrician to check the connections, all were ok. It simply won’t heat enough.

Great stove top

I love this stove top the power boil is awesome! I also like that I am able to lock it as I do have kids. This top is easy to clean and really easy to use!

I am replacing a unit supplied by my builder that failed after 3 years, I would have selected another manufacturer if the cutout would have allowed it. Very disappointed.

GE Touch Sensor Cooktop is Great

Great Clearance Price. No turning knobs to break. Touch Sensor Panel works great. Very Clean look. 2 burners bridge together for griddle use or long pans. Very quick burners on high settings. Really like the lock feature. Also like the “All Off” button. And have always trusted the GE Brand.

Great cooktop! Time saver for Sure!

I’m new to induction cooking. I did buy a new set of pots and pans that are suitable for induction cooking. This cooktop is amazing. Works so well. Has lots of levels, and once you learn how to use it, you’re be in love. It is so high tech and well made, you can cook your meal in a quarter of the time. Top cleans up well.
