Quality cooktop!

This cooktop truly gets the job done! The heat control is great and has safety features that keep my toddlers safe. It’s easy to use and cooks my food evenly.

Very happy with product because this have a good mach in the kitchen

Bought this electric cooktop, the box came with no plastic tape only two bands on each side of the box. When bands were cut the box was open. It did not look a new one. It was ok when installed. We shall see.

I hope it works better this time

This is the second one of these we bought. When we moved into our home 14 years after about 2 years the main burner would go right to power boil no matter where the temperature was set. We replaced it with the same unit. The cook top started doing the same thing again about 6 months with again the main burner going right to power boil no matter where the temperature was set. I would not have bought this product again, but we could not find another stove top to fit into the opening on our counter...

Great cooktop

Works well, heats evenly. Hard to keep clean. Being black, it shows every little smudge. I keep glass cleaner and polish handy for cleaning it.

Lasted 37 months.

Worked fine for 3 years then the 2 front burners gave out and since the problem is within the cooktop, it can't be fixed.

Terrible product

We purchased this stovetop from Lowe’s in March of 2026. Our old GE stovetop was 26 years old, so we felt comfortable buying another GE stovetop. I absolutely hate the new GE stovetop. It is hard to keep clean and when I turn the burner to low, it stays on high and burns the food. I do not recommend this stovetop to anyone!

Broke at the four month mark

Cooking one day, fourth months after installation and it just cracked out of nowhere. Do NOT buy this product. I think that the power boil is too much for the machine.

Love it! Cooks great and it is beautiful! Installer was super nice.

After 1 year main burner popped and does not work

Was 600$ on sale when i purchased. After 1 year turned the main power burner on and it popped and that burner no longer works. You would expect a pricey ge cooktop to last longer than a year.

horrible installation

I paid 258 dollars for installation. stove top was mounted uneven. conduit was left hanging when wired, so draws would not go back in. install company left it this when and did not return calls. beware of the subcontractors Lowes uses. 258 dollars bought me a problem that I will now have to fix.

Fit and cookware

It did not fit. I had to cut to make it fit. Due to my lack of research, I was not aware of the product not recommending certain cooperates suck as iron skillets which is my favorite to cook with.
