Not covered by warranty

No matter what they promise, this fridge is not covered by warranty. Mine arrived with a factory defect, foam exploding out all the seams, no air moving to the fresh food compartment, and coolant leaking inside. The outside walls of the fridge are bursting outward and deformed. The company (Bodewell) has sent three technicians who say it cannot be fixed, yet they will not take it back. After one month of this I am taking legal action. Never buy GE/Bodewell junk!

Should Not Be Surprised By GE Quality

I purchased this refrigerator in June 2024 after extensive research that reviewed this refrigerator as a top performing choice. The freezer door seal failed within the first couple of months which took two visits by Bodewell (GE's service partner) to repair correctly. Within the first 6 months, the compressor failed. Good, but could be better

The noise level is considerably louder than my previous refrigerator. The shelving is acceptable, but the deli drawer is too small. Also, the bottom shelf on the door is poorly designed & difficult to reach. Finally, the ice maker was improperly Installed and a service call was required.

This is an excellent product

We don't rave about appliances very often, but this 19.2 cubic foot is awesome. The primary reason is the overall design. It has a very good allocation of space, very thoughtfully designed.

Exactly what I was looking for in a refrigerator

I love the refrigerator. No complicated touch panels, great compartments for vegetables and cheese drawer. Ice Maker, and plenty of freezer capacity. Fits in a compact space in my condominium kitchen and comes in WHITE to match my other appliances.

The worse GE product I ever purchased. Been buying GE products for over fifty year, this was the worse thing I ever purchased. Product from day one did not cool and made loud noises. Only good thing that happened the store sent it back and we had to purchase another product.

Right now VERY UNHAPPY. Very LOUD when cycling....

Freezer is very noisy even after a week of using it. Per delivery person advice, it should run quieter after a week of use. I do not recommend this brand and model number.

Lots of space

This is deeper than my 26 year old fridgeratore. The storage is fantastic.

Great color and finish except handles

Love the color it coordinates beautifully with my other appliances and decor, very nice please keep this color it is timeless and elegant. The entire appliance area is easy to keep clean and nice. The handles are horrible to keep clean your hands can be clean and a smudge can be seen. I have spoken with others and they have the same issues. Can you recommend a cleaner to help make this less vulnerable to fingerprint marks?

Good cooling but freezer was noisy at start.

Appliance runs as it should but is noisier than earlier models. I have a 30 yrs. old Amana refrigerator/freezer that runs quieter.

Nice features.

We like our new refrigerator. It maintains steady temperatures in the freezer and refrigerator areas.

Incredibly user friendly

Overall love it. Spacious, bright, easy to see items and organize. Noisier than I anticipated, but reviews advised noise could be an issue, door gaskets are unbelievable, particularly the freezer. After having a refridgerator with lots of features, this is a pleasure to live with. Had bottom freezer, this top freezer is easier to see items and on the back. Also like glass shelves, nice and wide, easier to clean and minimal risks od drips. Just what I needed.

Horrible design

I hate this refrigerator upper shelf is useless. Cannot see what is on top shelf also design iof middle vent prevents anything tall being stored easily also no light in freezer I installed my own light. I should have returned it now I am stuck with it. I purchased it in Februar.

So, so...

It's an average refrigerator. Biggest complaint is the add on ice maker. After tossing the first 24 hours of ice as directed by the installers, the next 24 hours barely produced enough ice to cover the bottom of the ice tray. A week later and with normal use, it still isn't full. The position options of the shelves is also less that optimal. We needed a refrigerator immediately and this one will have to do for now.

Cheap & not worth it.

Ice maker makes about 14 cubes a day. Had service and guy said that's about all you'll get.

The best.....

I just purchased a GE. Refrigerator....after the Avocado Green GE refrigerator took its final breath. I have had GE appliances my whole adult life and always find what I need at Lowe's. Great products.

We purchased this refrigerator for our camper. Used it the first day & the freezer ended up having ice sickles & frost the next morning. The seal did not work. So, the business we purchased it from gave us a new seal. We will replace this spring & then see how it works.
