DO NOT PURCHASE GE OR ANYTHING FROM LOWES

I have had this washer unused for two months now. Today was the 4th time GE had come out to fix the unit unsuccessfully. I have everything documented with the technician and GE's customer service and now have to wait another 2 weeks for the 5th technician appointment. I have contacted Lowes multiple time to ask for a replacement and have not had any success. This experience has been completely awful and heart breaking.

Better anything yu have before or think about getting it

Don’t buy this. Don’t buy from Lowe’s

Shakes violently due to bad installation from Lowe’s team. Now 3 weeks old permanently broken after 5 washes. Leaking water. Poorly mad for a ridiculous price and Lowe’s service has been severely unhelpful for such major purchase. By another product elsewhere.

Did not complete Install

Deliverers said I had to get a plumber and I did. They said they would come back to finish the installation. Now, after the pan and the hoses and switches were fixed by a plumber, I cannot get Lowes (Gaithersburg MD) to come back to complete the install...put washer and dryer in closed and attached attachments.

Installers are a disappointment

installers said testing the machine to make sure everything was connected correctly was not a part of their job. When I used the machine---it shook so much I am not sure the clamps are secure for the stackable unit.

Shakes violently

Warning - this thing shakes so violently that it comes out of its custom cabinetry. I have never in my life encountered such a washer that is so violent in the spin cycle. It literally moves feet across the floor. This is so bad that we cannot use it. Trying to figure out my options now to either return it or just donate it. Will never be buying this brand again.

Super washing machine!

The washer is a godsend! It fits more clothes per cycle than our previous washing machine AND it truly leaves our clothes cleaner and brighter than they were before being washed!. Great design, too. The owner's manual is also very helpful. It's too soon to tell (we've only had the machine for 3 weeks), but we're hoping the electricity usage will also be lower than that with our old washer.

Great washer - with one exception

Good cleaning power and quiet too! Time settings are difficult to figure out. Less time is more efficient but it doesn’t match the named type of wash load.

DO NOT ORDER FROM LOWES

Lowe's Delivery is incompetent. They messed up first delivery and rescheduled me three times before completely leaving me off the schedule the fourth time. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS FROM LOWES. SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE. It will be a long time before I shop at Lowes again.

We had a Maytag washing machine that we loved for 14 years. I have never had a GE washer, but we live in a townhome and are restricted by size and this was one of the only items that fit our dimensions and had all of the features we desired.
