Top rack is cheaply made

The rack on the top shelf is cheap. I just replaced the older version of this dishwasher and it was made better. The middle rack sticks a lot and isn’t smooth. It catches when I pull it out.

GE dishwasher

Bought this back in July, in Sept. tenant notified it wasn’t cleaning dishes real good and leaving water in the filter tray at bottom. Lowe’s had it replaced. Installer put in another new one 2 weeks ago and a week later tenant notified it’s the same. Installer came out and double checked everything. He didn’t check the filter though, only that it did drain. He suggested it was a plumbing issue (garbage disposal) and left. Trash

This stopped working 1 1/2 years after purchase. And the warranty will not replace because it’s only warranty up to 1 year after purchase. Will not be buying ge dishwasher again

Great dishwasher

We have been using it for about a week and love it. Its so quiet and the 3rd rack is really nice. The unit looks really nice as well and matches our frigidaire stainless appliances.

Unknown H2O error- no support

This dishwasher was great for about 2 years. Started getting a H2O error. Tried everything that YouTube recommended, GE website, every forum than anybody had talked about this particular dishwasher. Several people said they were unable to fix it also. Contacted GE support was told to unplug it and plug it back up. ( really?) That is all the help that they gave. Great product. Not loud and cleans great.

Meh

I purchased this dishwasher for a replacement of one that I already owned. Sadly, even though it was the exact model, the quality of the dishwasher has deminished. The top rack is simply a wire rack - the older version was more of a third row with organizational inserts. Also, the door is so lightweight I'm fearful of it breaking.

Replacing after 2 years

This dishwasher wasn’t great from the beginning. It doesn’t hold nearly as many plates as our previous Samsung, the wash cycles take forever (3+ hours with dry boost) and the dishes still come out wet. We started having trouble with our controls within 1 year and now after 2 years this thing has a mind of its own… is starting randomly, switching through cycles and beeping every now and then like someone is pushing buttons. Does not dry dishes at all

I can’t find where to request someone come look at our dryer or offer replacement. Since we installed it we have had issues with nothing coming out dry. We assumed it was just newer technology and environmental regulations which made it perform worse than our old one. However a family member purchased a similar model and they don’t have the same issues. I assume the one we got has a defect but would like someone to come look at it and fix it or replace it.

Best Dishwasher yet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best dishwasher we have ever used. The first one to completely dry ALL items in the rack. No longer need to pre-rinse as it does an excellent job.
