SKIP THIS ONE

Bought 3 years, 6 most ago and replacing it. After 6 months the plastic fasteners holding the motor on broke resulting in a flood. It was still under warrantee and the repairman said he could replace it with his eyes closed he's done so many. Then the water fill switch went. Followed Youtube video to replace it. Then the sump gasket leaked, Youtube again saved the day. Now it won't stop draining even though no water in it. Youtube says "pressure switch, very common" and has a great video. NO THA...

Dishwasher

It was scratched and they only gave me 10% back. The installers should have noticed it and talked to me before it was installed. They ignored it.

Stopped working after 5 months!

Bought in May and started having problems in October. Sometimes the soap pack doesn't come out and sanitize doesn't work. I make sure the soap door is not blocked and cleaned. Heating element works, I can feel heat during cycle but not in drying cycle. The rack is already rusting. This is absolutely a waste on money, DO NOT BUY!

2 Years and It is a piece of crap

it worked fine for the 1st year. Then the racks started rusting. Went through a whole thing with GE to get replacement racks, then 6 months after that the door latch died and we had to replace it. now it shuts off in between cycles. DONT BUY THIS

Garbage machine

This thing refuses to drain which leads to bad odors from the machine. This will eventually lead to seep into the rest of the house making it unbearable to be in. Would rather be homeless than have a home with this garbage.

Doesn’t work

Bought and payed for installation. Installers turned on, water sprays turned off and had me sign release. 4 days later go to run for first time and it turns off by itself after 5 mins. Troubleshot with videos nothing fixes. Call Loews and told I had 48 hours to have fixed? Who fills a dishwasher in 2 days? I have a $700 paperweight. Said by 1 year warranty next time ( only protected for a year, really? That is what they think the quality should protect???). Called GE, guess what they cove...

Flimsy machine

Had this machine for a little under three months and already seeking service repair because the flimsy door doesn’t stay latched. We’ve also had the inner seal come undone and leak water all over the floor.

"They don't make them like the used to"

Do you like rusty dish racks? Do you want to shop for replacement racks in 6 months? Racks rusted within the first 6 months. We're a two person household, and we're not particularly hard on appliances. I've been using dishwashers for decades (in several crummy apartments at that), and I've never experienced this before. Best guess? They're cheap and trying to cut cost. We won't be buying another GE (or Haier - their overseas parent company) again.

Our whole experience has been awful, from Lowes double charging us, to the first installers not installing it, the 2nd installers cracking a pipe and just leaving it to the 3rd installers not leveling it either right to left or top to bottom. This is the worst dishwasher! I've had this thing for almost 13 MONTHS. It barely cleans completely. It might clean half the bowls we put in.
