What Customers Are Saying

Customers praise the dishwasher's thorough cleaning and notably quiet operation, with many highlighting effective wash cycles and sleek design as excellent value. However, a substantial group reports persistent drying issues—dishes remain wet despite using Dry Boost—and build quality concerns including flimsy doors, racks that won't stay on track, and rusting within one to two years. Some also mention mechanical failures like leaking or units that won't start. Despite these drawbacks, most customers find the cleaning performance and quiet operation worthwhile for the price.

Cheap Junk

Would Not Recommend

I never expected a GE product to be as comically cheaply built. The cheap plastic upper spray arm just fell off after the initial test and appears to be attached by a couple of clips on the upper wash rack that barely hold it. So it connects and disconnects to the water supply at the back of the tub as you pull/push the rack for use. Unit did not come with any trim and has an 1-1/2 gap between the top of the washer and from the bottom of the counter. All of this for a dishwasher that I would cla...

it does wash

Would Not Recommend

It does a decent job washing the dishes, but it is not well made. We bought it about 4.5 months ago but only stalled a month ago. The bottom rack is trash. The wheels of rack are not placed well to run on the track, so it comes off track almost every time you pull it out and push it in. Also, one of the uprights has already broken on the lower rack.
