Poor product and service

Worked well for one season (3/4 months). Just after owning it for one year it stopped working with an E6 error code which indicates no refrigerant and no repair. Attempts to contact GE support were without success. Have now had 2 GE dehumidifiers do this. Would not recommend purchasing this product.

bad dehumidifier

This dehumidifier never worked effectively, it iced up, removed less moisture than my previous one (Honeywell brand), and after one year of sub-optimal performance I have to replace it because the sensor function has broken.

Poor lifetime

same issue as others, E6 error. not freezing up so thermistor likely issue. no spare parts and outside of warranty by about 6 months. disappointed in GE products made in the last 10 years.

Not such a great product

Product not even a year old and already putting an E6 Already having issues and I cannot get in touch with anyone at GE

Don't waste your money on this

At just one and a half years the pump no longer works.i have cleaned everything,done a reset and still after the unit runs for just a few minutes the alarm goes off and the pump on light starts flashing and no longer pumps water out to drain.

Just purchased!!

Great features, great coverage

Coverage is great. Capacity is great, it’s not real loud, which is good. It’s got easy controls. I don’t have the drain hose connected yet; I have been emptying it by hand. I would like to connect the hose eventually.

So far so good, but the last 2 failed in a year

I reduced the rating because this is the third GE dehumidifier I have had in three years. The previous two failed during the warranty period with the same fatal error code. I fully expect this one to fail next summer.

Noisey at times.

Great drainage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted a dehumidifier that would drain into my washing machine outlet box/washer standpipe assembly. This dehumidifier works perfectly for this function. I highly recommend it for this purpose.

It does its job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a very good dehumidifier. It dries the air pretty quickly. I have a 50- pint It's a bit noisier than the 35-pint one that I owned before, but it's not a big problem. It has a large bucket and a hose for the case if I want to use the pump. The only "but" is the pump option which I was not able to turn on, but probably I don't quite understand how it works.

Lucky if you get a year

dehumidifiers are junk

These dehumidifiers are Junk, and Junk!

Worked great for about 4 months, now we get “E6” error that will go away when I turn if off then back on, but it will only run for a few hours unit the code comes back. This is the second unit that I've replaced in less than a year! Such a pain to deal with this and it's so frustrating.

warranty replacement

this is a warranty replacement. the first one lasted lees than 90 days. hope this one is more reliable. poor quality will eventually effect your business negatively.
