Good for small room

It's great at keeping a small room cold. It keeps the heat out of my small apartment but runs constantly.

Great Little Unit

Room Air Conditioner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This air conditioner is for a small room. I have it in my Dog Room or would be perfect in a bedroom. I love how quiet it is. And, cleaning the filter is a breeze! Keeps room very cold!

Lasted 15 months.

I am absolutely appalled at the lack of quality and durability of this unit. A mere 13 months after being purchased and installed, the compressor quit working. I purchased and installed the unit on 5-19-2024, in a room of approximately 165 square foot room, which is seldom used. In fact, of the 13 months the unit has been installed, it has been off at least a full three months. Of course, the warranty is only one year from purchase, so, one month after the warranty expired, so did the air condit...

Great AC unit

[Employee of ge_appliances] AC unit perfect for small rooms cools really fast and seems like it doesn’t take a lot of energy when you turn it on switch is good, I seen other unit that dim the light when turn on and this one doesn’t which is a plus for me. Over all great unit for a small room.

Started great, cooling power seems to be waning

The A/C started out strong, but about a month after purchase its cooling power seems to be waning. I've cleaned the filter and tried adjusting its position on the sill, but it still seems to be struggling to keep up with 90 degree heat. I'm keeping an eye on the situation.

Works great. Easy to install. Make sure to measure your windows before buying. Doesn't fit fully but got it to work.

Poor Quality Parts

The capacitor blew out after one year to the date of purchase.

Disappointed buyer

Exactly one year to the date the unit stopped working. The compressor will not power up.

Good So Far

It is the right size for the bedroom it was bought for. As long as the outside temps are in the 80's, all is good. Once the outside temps are above 90+, it struggles to keep the room comfortable. So, it will be interesting to see how it fares in the hot summer temps of July, August and September here in Texas. I hope it lasts for at least one summer season.
